Our museum curator, the late George Miller, wrote a book entitled: 'Fox Island, A History'. This book was published in 1993 by the Fox Island Historical Society and is available for sale in the Fox Island Museum.

George was the driving force behind the new museum.


He also headed up the museum expansion project in 2000.

David McHugh 
David McHugh was George Miller's partner in bringing the Museum to what it is today. His in-depth knowledge of Fox Island history and love for 'old things' made him a perfect fit for the museum.

Dave is the President Emeritus of the Fox Island Historical Society, and has retired from active duty with the museum.
